The 12th International Business Excellence Conference, an influential event focusing on optimizing operation of enterprises, raised curtains on March 26 in Suzhou, eastern China's Jiangsu Province. The annual public benefit activity has yielded fruitful results for 11 consecutive years.
Themed "Innovation Leading, Lean Solid Foundation, Embrace the Green and Intelligent New Era", this conference is expected to promote efficient cooperation in terms of all parts of the supply chain by establishing platforms and creating good environment. About 1,000 government officials, enterprise executives, staff in relevant companies and journalists attended the event, and the live broadcast of the conference hit over 1 million views online.

The conference commenced with a welcome address from David Yang, director-general of the International Association of Business Excellence. Bridges of communication have been built in Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing, Shanghai and Changzhou through the international Association of Business Excellence since its foundation 13 years ago, said Yang, adding that he felt truly grateful to all the friends who showed care and support to the association.

Zhou Jun, vice chairman of the Suzhou CPPCC Committee and chairman of the Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce. He said that he hopes talents from all over the world could come to Suzhou to exchange ideas and develop with Suzhou.
