On the afternoon of March 26, 2023, the 12th International Business Excellence Conference - Leadership Forum. Following the main venue in the morning, the Leadership Forum continued to share with the theme of "Innovation Leadership, Lean Foundations, Embracing a New Era of Green Intelligence".

Mr. Zheng Yansong, Deputy Leader and Office Director of the Development and Innovation Work Leading Group of the Zhengzhou High tech Zone Management Committee, delivered a speech at the conference. Mr. Zheng Yansong introduced the development background and current situation of Zhengzhou High tech Development Zone. It is the first national level economic development zone in Henan Province, with over 1000 high-tech enterprises and 26 listed companies, and continues to develop at a high growth rate. He analyzed the current situation of the industry, internal and external troubles, and described the systematic cost reduction and efficiency increase path of Hengtong Group's lean digital practice through 4 practices and 14 cases. Through 5 benchmarks and 5 solutions, it demonstrates how Hengtong Group has achieved breakthrough changes in achieving "3" in eight categories of indicators.

Mr. Zhu Yulu, Vice President of Saint Gobain China, as the second guest to share, showcased us the digitalization path of a century old traditional foreign enterprise in the construction industry. Since 2016, Saint Gobain has successfully completed digital transformation and achieved a miracle of over 1000 employees serving over 50000 users and 735 projects, facing the pressure and challenges of numerous state-owned enterprise competitors in localizing its business and rapid growth of the internet.

Mr. Xiao Yong, General Manager of Jiepu Electronics (Wuxi) and Vice President of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, shared how 5G empowers Jiepu. Jieping embraces lean transformation to encourage more people to participate in eliminating waste, improving capabilities, and continuously creating value for customers; Committed to eliminating non value-added and manual work, enhancing lean culture, enhancing visibility and intelligence of work activities, and concentrating key resources on key tasks. Many digital applications such as intelligent three-dimensional warehouses, intelligent precise delivery, intelligent production planning, and green energy management have enabled 5G to help Jeep Wuxi become the best smart factory in East China.

Mr. Lu Shouyuan, Vice President of Operations of Yuke Xerox Plastic Products (Taicang) Co., Ltd., proudly showcases Yuke Xerox, a German enterprise with a history of 159 years, on the excellent path of combining the spirit of craftsmanship with innovation. The entire digital team comes from within the enterprise, and through organizational restructuring, we have gradually built a borderless organization, paving an excellent path of innovation leadership management innovation technology innovation product innovation.

Mr. Hua Weimin, General Manager of Williams (Suzhou) Control System Co., Ltd. in China, discusses lean from a cultural perspective. He talked about sustainable lean culture being rooted in corporate culture, part of it, and consistent. The process of knowing, doing, obtaining, and realizing enables lean culture to take root. Through multiple simple examples of lean management methods, the essence of lean culture is finally highlighted. What changes is thinking, what changes is behavior, and what remains unchanged is improvement。

After the guest sharing, a round table dialogue session was held, chaired by Mr. Tang Liang, President of PO for Mettler Toledo China and Co-Chairperson of the International Association for Excellence in Operations. Dr. Cai Xianyong, Lean Director of Hengtong Group, Mr. Zhu Yulu, Vice President of Saint Gobain China, and Mr. Lu Shouyuan, Vice President of Operations for Yuke Xerox Plastic Products (Taicang) Co., Ltd, Mr. Hua Weimin, General Manager of Williams (Suzhou) Control System Co., Ltd. in China, and four sharing guests discussed the experience and prospects of lean and digital enterprises after the epidemic. Mr. Tang Liang, the host, threw a brick to attract jade, and the guests had a heated ideological collision on the theme, sharing their impressive cases and response measures to future challenges.

Finally, Mr. Yang Zhou, Chairman of Zhiyuan Group and Chairman of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, delivered a concluding speech.
