The first New Year event of the International Association for Operational Excellence has begun! The first event of the 2017 New Year was SMED's public welfare lecture, which was held on the afternoon of January 8th at Suzhou Zhiyuan Yi Consulting Co., Ltd.
The guest of this sharing is Miss Su Mei is a lean production manager and a six sigma black belt. She has 4 years of experience as an industrial engineer and 10 years of experience in lean implementation in multinational companies. She has rich experience and unique insights in the construction of lean systems and the use of lean tools. She has organized and participated in six sigma green belt training for many times. She spent the afternoon having a deep discussion with the attending guests on SMED in lean production.
The attending guests arrived early and signed in. The editor found that guests who did SMED were generally more punctual, with only half an hour left before the sharing meeting, and the venue was already fully booked.
The venue, which was originally around 60 people, had already reached over 80 people by 1:30, and the scene was so lively, indicating that this topic is something that everyone urgently needs to understand!
The opening person for this time is from our beloved Mr. Yang Zhou, Chairman of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, Executive Chairman of the International Conference on Excellence in Operations, President of Zhiyuan Group, Chief Advisor of Zhiyuan Yi Consulting, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Master, Member of the China Six Sigma Expert Committee, and China Registered Black Belt Reviewer. He gave a detailed introduction to the association's introduction, values, and 5-year plan, including the activities for the first year of this year. The editor was pleasantly surprised to find that our association has held no less than 30 activities this year. In addition to public lectures, there are also visits to benchmark enterprises, annual meetings with 1500 people, semi-annual Lean Six Sigma seminars, lakeside salons, and other activities. The editor believes that if there is a chance, they must participate.
Next, our sharing guest, Lean Master Su Mei, came on stage and gave a detailed explanation on the definition of SMED and the 10 steps to implement it.
During the course, the students spoke enthusiastically and everyone listened with interest.
During the break, the guests actively engaged in lively discussions with Teacher Su.
The guests also communicated and discussed with each other.
This is everyone's group photo, and the editor is also inside. Let's see if everyone can find where I am? Here comes the successful conclusion of this SMED public welfare lecture, which has made a good start. We look forward to the next one being even more exciting!
