After reviewing the wonderful moments of the quality special session, let's talk about the events of the Lean Supply Chain sub forum. To borrow the words of Ms. Huang Lixia, General Manager of Delphi Electronics, the host of this year's supply chain special session, the morning's sharing among the big shots is in the sky, and the afternoon's lean supply chain special session is the implementation of the theory.


Last year's supply chain special session, Mr. Huang, also shared Delphi's experience in lean manufacturing. As an old friend of the annual meeting, he carried the banner of the host this time.

This year's conference was filled with people early on, with many familiar old faces who hardly attended any supply chain events. At the same time, there were many new faces, indicating that the appeal and influence of the International Excellent Operations Annual Conference are increasing year by year. This edition of the Lean Supply Chain Special Session has expanded to include the construction and decoration industry, government departments, and logistics and express delivery, with the theme of manufacturing industry living alone.

Mr. Wang analyzed the current situation and difficulties of the industry for us, focusing on measures for refined management of the supply chain, how to win in the supply chain, and looking forward to future development.

The CEO of such an industry giant also speaks eloquently about his own supply chain. The company has created a free supply chain platform with different management policies for different types of suppliers.

 

Mr. Wang Jixiang, a logistics expert from the Ministry of Commerce, shared the theme: Internet plus logistics: promoting modern logistics into Industry 4.0

President Wang shared with us the changes in the logistics internet era. It is expounded from six aspects: first, the origin and connotation of "Internet plus"; Secondly, informatization brings about modern logistics transformation; Third, the logistics 4.0 era: Internet plus logistics; Fourthly, the new concept of logistics in the era of logistics internet; Fifth, intelligent logistics equipment in the era of logistics internet; Sixthly, the new mode of freight car networking in the era of logistics Internet tells the role of Internet plus in the logistics field from the government level. I was quite impressed by the origin, development and extension of the term Internet plus.


Mr. Xu Jianguo, Vice President of Tiantian Express, shares the theme of optimizing supply chain efficiency in the express delivery industry

As the behind the scenes hero of the recently concluded Double Eleven, Mr. Xu showed us the pain of the express delivery industry. How did Tiantian Express introduce and apply the concept of lean supply chain in the face of pain, change the traditional operation mode of express delivery, optimize the entire express delivery supply chain with technological means, strengthen cost control in all aspects of express delivery, and reduce waste. At the same time, it discusses the current business structure of e-commerce, traditional business, warehousing and distribution, personalized services, and the separation of express and express delivery. The reform of traditional express delivery models is imperative in the future. Transform from operational control to cost control, strengthen industry standardization construction, pay attention to details, and continuously improve service quality and express safety.


The sharing of the three guests and the host Mr. Huang resonated. No matter which industry, no matter how large the enterprise is, implementing management is refinement, planning is so detailed that it cannot be further refined, and cost deduction is so low that it cannot be further reduced. Achieving the ultimate in everything is excellence.

Firstly, Mr. Huang threw a brick to attract jade and became a hot topic, asking questions to each of the three guests.

Mr. Huang: How to achieve a lean supply chain in the construction and decoration industry?

Mr. Wang: Reduce intermediate links, provide deep processing service providers, strengthen design and processing capabilities, and provide price advantages. In addition to the physical supply chain, for the construction industry, the control of upstream and downstream financial supply chains is a characteristic of the construction decoration industry.

Mr. Huang: How do you view standardization?

President Wang: For the standardization of commercial logistics, the Ministry of Commerce is the place where the market failure occurs. The government invested 500 million yuan last year and 1.6 billion yuan this year to purchase standardized packaging boxes, which will be directly distributed to farmers in more than 20 provinces for free recycling, resulting in a direct 5% reduction in cold chain losses.

President Wang avenged logistics companies by saying that China's high logistics costs are wrong, and considering only GDP is one-sided. We need to consider the logistics volume per unit of GDP. President Wang gave a unique account of the three dimensions of logistics cost innovation: cost, and the value created under established service levels.

Mr. Huang: How does Tiantian Express respond to sudden peaks and valleys in demand?

Mr. Xu: The Double 11 has been in operation for 8 years and has achieved e-commerce, leaving only negative effects for the express delivery industry. This year's Double 11, the business volume in just one day has achieved the European target for one year. Faced with challenges, the only way is to fight chicken blood, unconditionally work overtime and overtime. Spell it! Only then did we achieve the perfect ending of today's Double 11. However, after spelling it out, I found that I had lost. In the current fiercely competitive industry and market share grabbing situation, as the courier behind the Double 11, there are too many helplessness.

During the free questioning time, the audience was very enthusiastic. Why has the express delivery fee increased and the service remained unchanged? How to predict the volume of express delivery business, control costs, and turn losses into profits? How to make a good supply chain website? How to face excessive competition? What are the difficulties and challenges faced by the Golden Mantis in the context of declining growth after the real estate boom? The audience didn't miss the opportunity to ask the host Mr. Huang a question and asked Delphi how to manage and apply lean manufacturing.

The guests answered one by one without reservation, full of dry goods and full of explosive information.
