On December 15th, the 2019 Nanjing International Excellent Operations Conference kicked off at the Yazhi Hotel in Lihu. The event was hosted by the Jiangsu Representative Office of the International Association for Excellent Operations (Singapore) and organized by Zhiyuan Yi Management Consulting (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., including Jiangsu EMBA-MBA Club, Yiya School, Suzhou Supply Chain Machinery Association, SMIC Wuxi Branch, Hangzhou Xizi Supply Chain Management Club, and Training Magazine Jointly organized by Changzhou Logistics and Supply Chain Committee and the European Procurement Business School, supported by the MBA/MEM/MPAcc Education Center of Nanjing University of Technology, and named by A.O. Smith.
The conference was presided over by Mr. Zhu Haifeng, Joint Secretary General of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, Secretary General of Jiangsu EMBA-MBA Club, and President of Yiya School.
Mr. Yang Zhou, Chairman of the International Association for Excellence in Operations and Chairman of Zhiyuan Group, introduced the overview of the International Association for Excellence in Operations to the guests present. At present, the association is managed by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce and has been approved by the Ministry of Public Security and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Public Security as the 9th legitimate overseas non-governmental organization. The association will carry out more activities in Singapore and Southeast Asia in the future. The significance of the association is to gather forces from various industries, communicate, exchange, and collide, thereby providing more possibilities for the development of various industries and forming an excellent development ecosystem.
In his speech at the conference, Mr. Gu Jiandang, president of Phoenix Contact China and co president of the International Association for Operational Excellence, said that the establishment of the association platform plays a vital role in the development of the manufacturing industry. Mr. Zheng Peiming, President of Otis Elevator China and Co-chairman of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, discussed in the theme sharing of "Innovating, Mining Needs, Dividing Work to Improve Efficiency" that in uncertain factors and environments, the enterprise will usher in new changes, which also heralds the beginning of a major development cycle. The needs of humans and society are long-term growth, and demand is changing and can be created. Technological innovation is the driving force of demand, and division of labor and cooperation are the only means to improve social efficiency.
Mr. Jiang Li, Chairman of Tianjia Environmental Technology, introduced Tianjia's international development path comprehensively from various aspects such as Tianjia's vision and values in a theme sharing titled "Tianjia, Adhering to the Road of Internationalized Quality Development". He said that to grow and strengthen a company, in addition to having a beautiful dream, it is also necessary to establish the company's values. In an uncertain environment, find a development path suitable for the enterprise itself.
After the guest sharing, a round table dialogue session was held. Under the leadership of Mr. Shu Peng, General Manager of Jiepu Electronics (Wuxi) and Vice President of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, Mr. Qiu Bu, Vice President of A.O. Smith China and Managing Director of Water Systems Company, Mr. Ji Huaqiang, Vice President of NIO Automotive Manufacturing Operations, Ms. Xu Ying, General Manager of Hermans Group, and Mr. Cheng Feng, General Manager of Jiangsu Shuanghuan Gear, participated in the dialogue, The four guests expressed their opinions and shared their understanding of modern technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and traditional enterprise transformation around the "growth momentum in the VUCA environment".
