Ms. Wang Yan, Deputy Director of Suzhou Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, delivered a speech as the opening guest.
Mr. Yang Zhou, Chairman of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, gave a brief explanation of the conference theme and the association.

A. O. Smith, as the naming sponsor of this forum, is a successful example of localized management for foreign-funded enterprises and a leader in the water heater industry. It has been rooted in China for 20 years, with high growth and profitability, high income and welfare for employees, and never forgets to give back to society! Mr. Ding Wei, President of China, President of the Nanjing Branch of the International Association for Excellence in Operations, and rotating Chairman of this annual meeting, shared the corporate value construction and management logic behind the company's rapid growth for 20 years. Mr. Ding's humorous and witty language, as well as his down-to-earth philosophy, received a warm response from all the audience, and several heartfelt applause proved their widespread recognition.
Share several important viewpoints:
1) Hire R&D engineers if you have money, and the concept of how to develop first-class products that customers are willing to pay an additional 500 yuan for addition, instead of ordinary companies only using subtraction every year to force R&D to reduce costs.
2) To make employees happy at work, it is necessary to give them a sense of achievement. To give employees a sense of achievement, it is necessary to constantly set small goals and encourage them to do their best. After success, they celebrate with great fanfare, spending at least six to seven million yuan each time and giving gifts to employees. In China, employee satisfaction ranks second to Google, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and BOSCH. The level of implementation of employee satisfaction is so strong that many companies find it difficult to match.
3) Emphasis is placed on research and development, employee training and motivation, and R&D and HR receive two more months of salary per year compared to other departments.
4) Is it better to have money before being capricious, or is it better to be capricious before being rich? In summary, employees should be incentivized even if they suffer losses. The branch with a 65% employee turnover rate over the past three years has successfully turned losses into profits within six months after Mr. Ding took over
5) New employees who fully tap into their potential and report to three senior executives after the probationary period will be successfully classified as key employees in potential stock training.
6) All executives spend a day brainstorming to select the five most important projects for the company's annual profit doubling, as well as the Vice President personally leading the project and regularly tracking it
